A major branch of the Beef Cattle Institute (BCI) in addition to research and outreach is education. Through the Animal Care Training website (www.animalcaretraining.org), the BCI offers resources for individuals and teams to expand their knowledge of food safety, animal welfare and environmental stewardship through web-based audiovisual training modules available in both English and Spanish.
Animal Care Training serves a variety of audiences from national corporations and livestock marketers training entire teams to individual producers and veterinarians looking to improve their methods.
The site also serves as a host to continuing education modules for organizations such as American Association of Bovine Practitioners (AABP) and has been named the national training center for beef and dairy producers by the National Cattlemen’s Beef Association (NCBA).
